Hobart's compact, historic, and surrounded by wilderness. Our Amazing Race drops your team into the heart of Tasmania's capital for a corporate event that blends sandstone heritage, waterfront energy and genuine adventure.
Hobart punches well above its weight. You've got Salamanca's cobblestone warehouses, the docks at Constitution Dock, Battery Point's colonial cottages, and kunanyi/Mount Wellington watching over the lot. All within walking distance.
That density is what makes it perfect for an Amazing Race. Teams move between completely different environments in minutes. One checkpoint you're solving clues among the fishing boats. The next you're navigating the narrow streets of Battery Point. The city feels like it was built for this format.
And there's a creative edge to Hobart that shows up everywhere. MONA put this city on the global map, but the galleries, street art, and food scene were already thriving. Your team won't just race through Hobart. They'll experience it.
Every route is designed for your group. We build around your start point, team size, and the kind of experience you want. No cookie-cutter templates.
Clues tied to local history, landmarks and hidden spots. Your team will discover things about Hobart they never knew, even the locals.
Fits a half-day retreat, a conference breakout, or a standalone team event. Briefing, race, debrief, and awards all included.
The sandstone warehouses of Salamanca are where most races kick off. Teams grab their clue envelopes and scatter through the markets, galleries and laneways that run behind the main strip. Constitution Dock adds a waterfront leg with the fishing fleet and floating restaurants as the backdrop.
Step through the gate on Kelly Street and you're in a different era. Battery Point's winding streets, colonial cottages, and Arthur Circus are ideal for navigation challenges. Teams need to slow down, think, and pay attention to detail.
The creative hub of the city. North Hobart's restaurant strip on Elizabeth Street and the heritage architecture along Macquarie Street give teams a completely different vibe. Challenges here lean into food, culture, and observation.
For longer races, routes can extend along the waterfront towards MONA. We won't send you inside the museum, but the precinct around it and the foreshore walk offer brilliant challenge locations with kunanyi towering in the background.
Flew the team down from Melbourne for a Hobart offsite and the Amazing Race was the highlight. Salamanca and Battery Point were perfect for it. The challenges were clever and everyone got involved. Couldn't fault it.
We run Amazing Race events right across Australia.
